Bringing proven technology to the mass market, this 4 gear portal design borrows from 74Weld's race-winning Ultra4 and Trophy Truck portals and scales things down to package perfectly on any JL or JT Jeep vehicle. With these portals you are able to re-gear, lift, improve ground clearance, and provide room for larger tires on your Jeep all with a single product. This is a 100% bolt on product that is fully compatible with all JL and JT ABS systems.
The Gen 2 Jeep Portal Axle allows you to build an extreme off road capable vehicle while still retaining the comfortable ride quality of a stock Jeep. This 4 gear design provides a 22% gear reduction at the hubs which allows for a 22% bigger tire without the extra stress on all drivetrain components. This means that you can throw out the stock 32ā tires and replace them with 39ā tires without having to lift your Jeep or re-gear your axles. The portal is your lift, the portal is your re-gear, and unlike a conventional lift kit, the portal lifts your axles giving you jaw dropping ground clearance where you want it mostā¦under the diffs.
